The character in my book "Out of my Mind" that I would most want to meet is Melody. I would most want to meet her because she inspires me. She never gives up dispute her disabilities o not being able to speak or walk. She joins the quiz team for the school even though everyone looks at her weird. She is the only one that ever got a perfect score. She is extremely smart. She studied twice as much as everyone else with her neighbor Mrs. V. Another reason that I would like to meet her is because she is so strong. It must be so hard to have all those word and things that you want to say inside you, but not being able to. For example just th simple things like saying thank you or I love you to her parents.  She used to feel sorry for herself but then started to relize that doing that wasn't going to get her very far. Once she got her media talker her whole life turned around and she was able to communicate with others.

My favorite book that I have ever read is Delirium by Lauren Oliver.  I loved this book because it was suspenseful and it didn’t take place in this world it was post apocalyptic so it took place in the future. The genres of books I like to read are realistic fiction and mysteries. The book that I just finished was If I Stay. The book is about a girl named Mia who gets in a really bad car crash. She loves her life and has amazing friends and family. She is now in a coma and is able to make the decision of whether she wants to stay alive or go to heaven. Her mom and dad both passed away in the crash but her brother is still alive in critical condition just like she is. She is able to walk around the hospital in an out of body experience. She can’t make the decision if she should stay alive with her brother that might not make it and her boyfriend that she is deeply in love with or go to heaven with her mom and dad. She can’t imagine living without them.  I think that the theme of the book was not all decisions are easy. I think this because she had a very hard time deciding what she should do. Throughout the whole book I wanted her to stay, but I put myself in her position and I couldn’t imagine living without having my parents with me either. The book is told from lots of flashbacks because she remember back to things that have happened while telling her story for example times with her boyfriend and family hoping that it will help her decide if she should stay with her boyfriends and rest of the family or not. Her friends and family come to visit her and talk to her even though she is in coma. She loves listening to them talk. I loved the book it was very good the ending surprised me a lot!
